One of Jamaica's leading and most highly regarded aesthetics practitioners, Andrea Mckenzie- Ricketts brings over thirty eight years of multi-faceted experience in the personal care and beauty industries.
Andrea spent her formative years working alongside her mother in one of Jamaica’s most popular salons, Hair Power, before launching out on her own. Taking a deeper interest in the then emerging field of aesthetics. She studied with Christine Valmy, the foremost aesthetic practitioner at the world-renowned Christine Valmy International Institute in Manhattan, New York.
Upon graduating, she returned to Jamaica to devote herself to the development of her own professional aesthetic practice. In 1997, Andrea took her practice to a new level with the opening of Face to Face. As the name implies, the company is built on the principle of one-on-one personalized attention and the finest, most modern treatments available anywhere. In order to back up this promise, Andrea annually attends the International Congress of Aesthetics in the United States in order to keep herself current with the latest and most effective methods and treatments in the business.
With these principles in practice, Face to Face has grown from strength to strength and is now a full service salon offering skin, body, nail care as well as variety of award winning pharmaceutical, clinical and organic skin care products.
Andrea completed an advanced Paramedical Aesthetics Course taught by world- renowned Cosmetic Surgeon and Dermatologist, Dr. James E. Fulton, M.D., PH.D of the USA. Dr. Fulton is the developer of VIVANT skin care, one of the leading skin care products for treating acne, discolouration and aging skin. Andrea introduced VIVANT to Jamaica 20 years ago and continues to remain passionate about achieving excellent results with her clients!
Chanel Ricketts, daughter of Andrea Ricketts, decided to follow in her mother's foot steps in pursuing Aesthetics. She studied art at the prestigious school of Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia (SCAD). She completed her Bachelor of Business Marketing in both Jamaica and Canada. Returning to Kingston, Jamaica she attended the Heart Institute to study Aesthetics. Chanel has also done training in Miami, Florida with Vivant Skin Care formulator Dr. Fulton and his wife, chemist, Sara Fulton. She now runs Face to Face Skin Care Salon alongside her mother. She has become passionate about skin care, product knowledge and the results and care of her clients. She believes in effective products, sanitation, excellent customer service and increasing knowledge. With her growing love for the business she strive's to keep the legacy going in providing the best skin care services at Face to Face Skin Care Salon & Day Spa.
